I found myself after 10:30 out side in my PJ’s in the rain! I was rescuing about 20 or more newly hatched baby frogs (the size of my thumb nail), they had come onto the concrete footpath that surrounds my house which in turn had drawn the moisture straight off their skin. At first the kids and I thought they were all dead until we tipped water on them and to our surprise they became unstuck, I spent the next 1/2 an hour hosing the concrete and walls. It’s great to see so many baby frogs for our environment! This picture was taken a few days when their skin is a bit tougher and they have all found hiding spots in the garden.
This picture is of a Blue Tongue Lizard we saw up past Kuranda along the road. Another picture from a previous post. This picture is when he was not as scary looking ……. not sure about the photography effort as I held the camera down in front of his face …There was no way I was getting down on my belly, not so fast anymore! haha!
